You've been thinking about getting involved. Now you know how easy it is and how much your help is needed in our community. We have 150 great kids in Waco waiting for their Big. Why not apply to be a Big today?
We’re always looking for people eager to positively impact a child and improve their community at the same time. And, right now is no different. Bigs are in high demand. So, Start Something. For a few hours, a couple times a month, you can give a Little the invaluable gift of your friendship. By simply changing their perspective of what the world can offer, you can literally start changing their lives. And sometimes it’s as simple as playing video games, going to a museum, or just hanging out together.
Did you know there is more than one type of Big? In addition to becoming a Big Brother/Big Sister, you can also apply as a Big Couple or Big Family. This is your chance to start something big. You can help impact the life of a child for the better. Great things can happen, no matter how little they start.
How to apply - There are a few ways to get started!
1. Complete and return an application.
Return your completed application via email to volunteer@bbbstx.org or by mail to: Big Brothers Big Sisters Waco, 8810 W. Hwy 84 Ste. 206, Woodway, TX 76712.
2. Call us.
Give one of our Customer Service Representatives a call at 888.887.BIGS during regular business hours. They'll answer any questions you have as well as take your information in order to schedule an interview.
3. Complete our convenient online inquiry form.
After you complete a short form online, a Big Brothers Big Sisters staff member will contact you. You'll need to: provide two references, participate in an in-person interview and have a background check performed.

Research shows that having the positive influence of a Big Brother makes a real difference in a boy's life.
